François D. Trotta, M.D.
Dr. Trotta, M.D. completed his undergraduate training at Colgate University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages and Literature. He then attended medical school at the University of Paris/Sorbonne/Hospital Necker Enfants-Malades where he was awarded his medical degree. He completed his internship and residency, first in internal medicine, and then in ophthalmology, at the University of Kentucky Medical School. Dr. Trotta then completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at Harvard University, Retina Associates, Massachusetts Eye, and Ear.
Dr. Trotta is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, the Idaho Society of Ophthalmology and the Idaho Medical Association.
